Common use of Monitoring and Observation of Teacher Clause in Contracts

Monitoring and Observation of Teacher. All monitoring or observations of the work performance of a teacher, relating to teacher evaluation, shall be conducted openly and with full knowledge of the teacher. A teacher receiving any unfavorable comments on an evaluation may request a conference with the evaluator for the purpose of mutually agreeing on what assistance the District may provide to assist the teacher in improving those area(s) of instruction which were evaluated unfavorable. Assistance will then be given by the District as agreed upon.
