Movement Between Agencies Clause Samples
Movement Between Agencies. When an employee who was employed by one Employer and is subsequently employed by another Employer as a result of a merger, the employee will be credited with seniority in accordance with the following:
(1) Where the two Employers have a similar method of calculating seniority each employee moving from one agency to another will be credited with their seniority.
(2) Where the Employers have a different method of calculating seniority, the employee will have their seniority calculated by their current Employer using the methodology of the new Employer.
Movement Between Agencies. When an employee who was employed by one Employer and is subsequently employed by another Employer as a result of a merger and/or, until March 30, 2006, pursuant to the Continuity Service and Employment Agreement, the employee shall be credited with seniority in accordance with the following:
(1) Where the two Employers have a similar method of calculating seniority each employee moving from one agency to another shall be credited with their seniority.
(2) Where the Employers have a different method of calculating seniority, the employee shall have their seniority calculated by their current Employer using the methodology of the new Employer.
