Common use of Movement Between Agencies Clause in Contracts

Movement Between Agencies. When an employee who was employed by one Employer and is subsequently employed by another Employer as a result of a merger and/or, until March 30, 2006, pursuant to the Continuity Service and Employment Agreement, the employee shall be credited with seniority in accordance with the following: (1) Where the two Employers have a similar method of calculating seniority each employee moving from one agency to another shall be credited with their seniority. (2) Where the Employers have a different method of calculating seniority, the employee shall have their seniority calculated by their current Employer using the methodology of the new Employer.‌
