Common use of National Commercials Clause in Contracts

National Commercials. For each commercial announcement (including any of its versions) from an original contract that is used beyond the initial thirteen (13) week cycle, for each additional thirteen (13) week cycle, the producer shall pay fifty percent (50%) of the musician’s scale wages for all services on the original contract PER individual commercial announcement (the versions /edits of each commercial announcement are covered under that fee). For each such additional thirteen (13) week cycle, the same reuse fees shall apply.
