International Cooperation. Members agree to cooperate with each other with a view to eliminating international trade in goods infringing intellectual property rights. For this purpose, they shall establish and notify contact points in their administrations and be ready to exchange information on trade in infringing goods. They shall, in particular, promote the exchange of information and cooperation between customs authorities with regard to trade in counterfeit trademark goods and pirated copyright goods.
International Cooperation. The ESM shall be entitled, for the furtherance of its purposes, to cooperate, within the terms of this Treaty, with the IMF, any State which provides financial assistance to an ESM Member on an CHAPTER 7 TRANSITIONAL ARRANGEMENTS
International Cooperation. 1. States Parties shall cooperate with each other, consistent with their respective security interests and national laws, to effectively implement this Treaty.
2. States Parties are encouraged to facilitate international cooperation, including exchanging information on matters of mutual interest regarding the implementation and application of this Treaty pursuant to their respective security interests and national laws.
3. States Parties are encouraged to consult on matters of mutual interest and to share information, as appropriate, to support the implementation of this Treaty.
4. States Parties are encouraged to cooperate, pursuant to their national laws, in order to assist national implementation of the provisions of this Treaty, including through sharing information regarding illicit activities and actors and in order to prevent and eradicate diversion of conventional arms covered under Article 2 (1).
5. States Parties shall, where jointly agreed and consistent with their national laws, afford one another the widest measure of assistance in investigations, prosecutions and judicial proceedings in relation to violations of national measures established pursuant to this Treaty.
6. States Parties are encouraged to take national measures and to cooperate with each other to prevent the transfer of conventional arms covered under Article 2 (1) becoming subject to corrupt practices.
7. States Parties are encouraged to exchange experience and information on lessons learned in relation to any aspect of this Treaty.
International Cooperation. 1. Each Party recognizes that international cooperation is vital to realizing effective protection of intellectual property rights and that it should be encouraged regardless of the origin of the goods infringing intellectual property rights, or the location or nationality of the right holder.
2. In order to combat intellectual property rights infringement, in particular trademark counterfeiting and copyright or related rights piracy, the Parties shall promote cooperation, where appropriate, among their competent authorities responsible for the enforcement of intellectual property rights. Such cooperation may include law enforcement cooperation with respect to criminal enforcement and border measures covered by this Agreement.
3. Cooperation under this Chapter shall be conducted consistent with relevant international agreements, and subject to the laws, policies, resource allocation, and law enforcement priorities of each Party.
International Cooperation. 1. The Parties shall cooperate as appropriate in the implementation of this Agreement, and shall, in particular, exchange information, including evidentiary material, relating to activities of fishing vessels in order to assist the flag State in identifying those fishing vessels flying its flag reported to have engaged in activities undermining international conservation and management measures, so as to fulfil its obligations under Article III.
2. When a fishing vessel is voluntarily in the port of a Party other than its flag State, that Party, where it has reasonable grounds for believing that the fishing vessel has been used for an activity that undermines the effectiveness of international conservation and management measures, shall promptly notify the flag State accordingly. Parties may make arrangements regarding the undertaking by port States of such investigatory measures as may be considered necessary to establish whether the fishing vessel has indeed been used contrary to the provisions of this Agreement.
3. The Parties shall, when and as appropriate, enter into cooperative agreements or arrangements of mutual assistance on a global, regional, subregional or bilateral basis so as to promote the achievement of the objectives of this Agreement.
International Cooperation. The Parties may bring to the Joint Committee under Article 17 issues related to:
(a) air transport and international organisations;
(b) possible developments in relations between the Parties and other countries in air transport; and
(c) trends in bilateral or multilateral arrangements including, where possible, proposals on the development of coordinated positions in these fields.
International Cooperation. The Parties shall work together at the WTO to promote increased transparency and to improve and further develop multilateral disciplines on market access, domestic support, and export competition with the objective of substantial progressive reductions in support and protection resulting in fundamental reform.
International Cooperation. The Parties and the Signatory Parties agree to provide mutual cooperation and technical assistance through competent international or regional organizations in order to:
(a) promote the application of this Chapter;
(b) promote the application of the WTO/TBT Agreement;
(c) strengthen their respective metrology, standardization, technical regulation, conformity assessment bodies as well as their information and notification systems within the framework of the WTO/TBT Agreement;
(d) strengthen technical confidence between such bodies, mainly with a view to establishing Mutual Recognition Agreements of interest to the Parties and the Signatory Parties;
(e) increase participation and seek coordination of common positions at international organizations on issues related to standardization and conformity assessment;
(f) support the development and application of international standards;
(g) increase the training of the human resources needed for the purposes of this Chapter;
(h) increase the development of joint activities between the technical bodies involved in the activities covered by this Chapter.
International Cooperation. ASEAN Member States shall endeavour to participate in international dialogues to enhance ASEAN's energy and/or petroleum security with ASEAN Dialogue Partners and relevant international organisations. During periods of petroleum shortages and emergencies affecting the whole ASEAN region, the ASCOPE Secretary In Charge shall support any mechanism formalised pursuant to the 22nd AMEM in Manila, Philippines on 9 June 2004, on regional consultation and coordination.
International Cooperation. Consistent with this Agreement and upon a unanimous decision of the Council, the ITER Organization may, in furtherance of its purpose, cooperate with other international organizations and institutions, non-Parties, and with organizations and institutions of non-Parties, and conclude agreements or arrangements with them to this effect. The detailed arrangements for such coop- eration shall be determined in each case by the Council.
