Regional Cooperation. In order to make the most of this Agreement, the Parties shall xxxxxx all activities which have a regional impact or involve third countries, notably: (a) intra-regional trade within the Maghreb; (b) environmental matters; (c) the development of economic infrastructure; (d) research in science and technology; (e) cultural matters; (f) customs matters; (g) regional institutions and the establishment of common or harmonised programmes and policies.

Regional Cooperation. The Parties agree to use all existing cooperation instruments to promote activities aimed at developing active and reciprocal cooperation between the European Union and Central America and, without undermining cooperation between the Parties, between Central America and other countries/regions in Latin America and the Caribbean in areas such as trade and investment promotion, environment, natural disaster prevention and response, scientific, technical and technological research, energy, transport, communications infrastructure, culture, regional development and land use planning, among others.
Regional Cooperation. The financial assistance from the Community referred to in the previous Articles may be used to fund projects or programmes of national or local interest in South Africa as well as the participation of South Africa in regional cooperation activities which it undertakes together with other developing countries.

Priority shall be given to initiatives channelled towards promoting intra-regional trade in Central America and the Caribbean; stimulating regional cooperation on the environment and on technological and scientific research; promoting the development of the communications infrastructure needed for the economic development of the region and supporting initiatives to improve the standard of living of those living in poverty. 3. Special attention shall be given to developing the role of women, particularly in the production process. 4. The Parties shall study appropriate means for the promotion and monitoring of joint cooperation with other countries.
Regional Cooperation. The Parties will encourage operations having a regional impact or associating other countries of the region, with a view to promoting regional cooperation. Such operations may include: — trade at intra-regional level, — environmental issues, — development of economic infrastructures, — scientific and technological research, — cultural matters, — customs matters,
Regional Cooperation. The Parties hereby endeavour to consult each other regularly within the framework of the IOTC and other relevant regional organisations of which they are members, in order to discuss and, where possible, coordinate respective decisions, including the possibility to submit joint proposals to those organisations.
Regional Cooperation. As part of the implementation of economic cooperation in the various spheres, the Parties will encourage operations designed to develop cooperation between the Palestinian Authority and other Mediterranean partners, through technical support. This cooperation will be an important element of the Community's support for the development of the region as a whole. Priority will be given to operations aimed at: - promoting intra-regional trade, - developing regional cooperation on the environment, - encouraging the development of the communications infrastructure required for the economic development of the region, - strengthening the development of youth cooperation with neighbouring countries. To this end the following measures may be taken: - joint action by regional and local authorities in the area of economic development, and - the establishment of mechanisms for the exchange of information and experience.

Regional Cooperation. In conformity with its commitment to international and regional peace and stability, and to the development of good neighbourly relations, Serbia shall actively promote regional cooperation. The Community assistance programmes may support projects having a regional or cross-border dimension through its technical assistance programmes. Whenever Serbia foresees to reinforce its cooperation with one of the countries mentioned in Articles 15, 16 and 17, it shall inform and consult the Community and its Member States according to the provisions laid down in Title X. Serbia shall implement fully the Central European Free Trade Agreement signed in Bucharest on 19 December 2006.
Regional Cooperation. Cooperation between the Parties may extend to activities under cooperation or integration agreements with other countries of the same region, provided the said activities are compatible with those agreements. Without excluding any area, special consideration may be given to the following activities: (a) technical assistance (services of outside consultants, training of technical staff in certain practical aspects of integration); (b) promotion of intraregional trade; (c) support for regional institutions, projects and initiatives for which regional organisations bear responsibility; (d) studies concerning regional links, transport and communications.
