Common use of National Intelligent Transportation Systems Architecture and Standards Clause in Contracts

National Intelligent Transportation Systems Architecture and Standards. The Recipient agrees to conform to the National Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Architecture requirements of 23 U.S.C. § 517(d), unless it obtains an exemption from those requirements, and to follow FTA Notice, “FTA National ITS Architecture Policy on Transit Projects,” 66 Fed. Reg. 1455, January 8, 2001, and all other applicable federal guidance.

The To the extent applicable, the Recipient agrees to conform to the National Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Architecture requirements of and Standards as required by SAFETEA-LU § 5307(c), 23 U.S.C. § 517(d), unless it obtains an exemption from those requirements512 note, and to follow the provisions of FTA Notice, “FTA National ITS Architecture Policy on Transit Projects,” 66 Fed. Reg. 14551455 et seq., January 8, 2001, and all any other applicable federal guidanceimplementing directives FTA may issue at a later date, except to the extent FTA determines otherwise in writing.
