A Nauseous Allowance clause provides compensation or accommodations for individuals who experience nausea, typically in the context of employment or service provision. Nauseous Allowance. Nauseous Allowance is not separately payable and is included in the relevant pay points.

Appointment of a HASA employee or Registered Nurse Division 2 to a classification preceded by the term ‘Senior’ and/or ‘Team Leader’ will only be made where the work performed by such person represents a significant net addition to the work value of the substantive role required of the HASA employee or Registered Nurse Division 2 employed in a similar area. Examples of a net addition duties or functions include the assignment of a special project or an increased emphasis on the performance of the core functions already undertaken by a HASA employee or a Division 2 Registered Nurse. 15.2 A significant net addition to the work value of the substantive role required of a HASA employee or Registered Nurse Division 2 would be characterised by: 15.2.1 the additional functions or duties are a regular and on-going requirement; and 15.2.2 experience in the role commensurate with this clause, coupled with on the job training where provided by the Employer; and 15.2.3 the necessity for additional training in a particular aspect of the role above that required to fulfil the role of a HASA employee or Registered Nurse Division 2 employed in a similar area of areas; and 15.2.4 a greater level of judgment is required from the HASA employee or Registered Nurs...
Nauseous Allowance. ‌ 28.1 An allowance per week as set out in Appendix A shall be paid to Enrolled Nurses and Aged Care Employees (except for Wage Skill Groups 4, 5, 7 and 9) when handling linen of a nauseous nature other than linen sealed in airtight containers.‌ 28.2 An allowance per hour or part thereof as set out in Appendix A shall be paid to an Employee (except for a Registered Nurse) in any classification for work which is of an unusually dirty or offensive nature having regard to the duty normally performed by such Employee in such classification, provided that any Employee who is paid an allowance under clause 28.1 shall not be entitled to be paid an allowance under clause 28.2 for the same work.‌

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • Altona Area Allowance As of 1 March 2024 an Employee within a 8 km radius from the intersection of Kororoit Creek Road and Millers Road, Altona shall, when employed on chemical or petrochemical plants or on commercial or industrial construction jobs within 1 km of the nearest part of the perimeter of such plants or within the perimeter of storage tank farms, be paid an all- purpose allowance of $1.55 per hour extra. This allowance will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March 2025 rounded to the nearest 5 cents.

  • Retirement Allowance Prior to issuing notice of layoff pursuant to article 9.08(a)(ii) in any classification(s), the Hospital will offer early-retirement allowance to a sufficient number of employees eligible for early retirement under HOOPP within the classification(s) in order of seniority, to the extent that the maximum number of employees within a classification who elect early retirement is equivalent to the number of employees within the classification(s) who would otherwise receive notice of layoff under article 9.08(a)(ii). An employee who elects an early retirement option shall receive, following completion of the last day of work, a retirement allowance of two weeks' salary for each year of service, plus a prorated amount for any additional partial year of service, to a maximum ceiling of 26 weeks' salary, and, in addition, full-time employees shall receive a single lump-sum payment equivalent to $1,000 for each year less than age 65 to a maximum of $5,000 upon retirement."

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.
