Need to Reduce Staff Numbers. Where the Board considers that for educational, organizational or budgetary reasons it is necessary to reduce the total number of teachers employed by the Board, it shall be done in accordance with the provisions of this agreement. Nothing in this article is intended to interfere with the Board’s authority regarding suspension, dismissal or termination of teaching personnel pursuant to this agreement.

  • Minimum Staffing The Employer agrees to employ sufficient registered staff and health care aides/ Personal Support Workers to meet the staffing needs that may be set from time to time by statute and/or regulation. In the event that there is insufficient staffing to meet this undertaking, the Employer will post vacancies so that any unmet care undertaking will be satisfied.

  • COMMUTE TRIP REDUCTION AND PARKING 24.1 The Employer will continue to encourage but not require employees to use alternate means of transportation to commute to and from work consistent with the Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) law and the needs of the Employer and the community.
