New Titles Clause Samples

The "New Titles" clause establishes how ownership and rights to newly created works, products, or intellectual property are handled during the course of an agreement. Typically, this clause specifies whether new titles developed by one or both parties will be owned by the creator, assigned to the client, or jointly owned, and may outline procedures for registration or protection of these titles. Its core function is to clearly allocate ownership and usage rights for new intellectual property, preventing future disputes and ensuring both parties understand their entitlements regarding new creations.
