Next Trading Day Clause Samples
The "Next Trading Day" clause defines how contractual obligations or deadlines are adjusted when a scheduled date falls on a day when financial markets are closed. In practice, if a payment, delivery, or other action is due on a non-trading day, the clause stipulates that the obligation will be deferred to the next day when the relevant market is open for business. This ensures that parties are not required to perform actions on days when market infrastructure is unavailable, thereby maintaining fairness and operational feasibility in financial transactions.
Next Trading Day. Whenever any payment or other obligation hereunder shall be due on a day other than a Trading Day, such payment shall be made on the next succeeding Trading Day.
