Interaction with Other Leaves Paid parental leave will run concurrently with any unpaid leave(s) that parents may be entitled to under other provisions of this Agreement or provided by law. Employees shall not receive other types of paid leave provided by this Agreement (e.g., sick, vacation, compensatory time) for hours for which they are receiving PPL.
Interaction with Other Leave Entitlements (a) An employee proceeding on unpaid Maternity Leave may elect to substitute any part of that leave with accrued annual and/or accrued long service leave.
INDEPENDENT RELATIONSHIP This Agreement is not intended to constitute, create, give effect to or otherwise recognize a joint venture, partnership, or formal business organization, or agency agreement of any kind, and the rights and obligations of the Parties shall be only those expressly set forth herein.
Termination with Liability If (a) the Customer terminates the agreement before the end of the Term for reasons other than for cause or (b) the Company terminates the agreement for cause, then the Customer will pay, within 30 days after such termination: (i) all accrued but unpaid charges incurred through the date of such termination, plus (ii) an amount equal to 25 percent of the unsatisfied MVR remaining during the year of termination, and for each subsequent annual period remaining in the Term, plus (iii) a pro rata portion of any and all credits received by the Customer.
No Lockout The Employer agrees that neither it, its officers, agents nor representatives, individually or collectively, will authorize, institute or condone any lockout of employees during the term of this Agreement.
No Relationship Landlord shall in no event be construed for any purpose to be a partner, joint venturer or associate of Tenant or of any subtenant, operator, concessionaire or licensee of Tenant with respect to the Property or any of the Other Leased Properties or otherwise in the conduct of their respective businesses.
Contractual Relationship It is understood and agreed that the relationship described in this Agreement between the Parties is contractual in nature and is not to be construed to create a partnership or joint venture or agency relationship between the parties. Neither party shall have the right to act on behalf of the other except as expressly set forth in this Agreement. Contractor will be solely responsible for and will pay all taxes related to the receipt of payments hereunder and shall give reasonable proof and supporting documents, if reasonably requested, to verify the payment of such taxes. No Contractor personnel shall obtain the status of or otherwise be considered an employee of NCTCOG or Participating Entity by virtue of their activities under this Agreement.
Relationship with other agreements The implementation of this Treaty shall not prejudice obligations undertaken by States Parties with regard to existing international agreements, to which they are party, where those obligations are consistent with the Treaty.
Other Leave With or Without Pay 17.01 In respect to applications for leave made pursuant to this Article, the employee may be required to provide satisfactory validation of the circumstances necessitating such requests.
No Liability for Errors CenturyLink is not liable for mistakes in their respective signaling networks (including but not limited to signaling links and Signaling Transfer Points (STPs)) and call- related databases (including but not limited to the Line Information Database (LIDB), Toll Free Calling database, local Number Portability database, Advanced Intelligent Network databases, Calling Name database (CNAM), 911/E911 databases, and OS/DA databases).
