No Duty to Seek Employment. The Employee and the Company acknowledge and agree that nothing contained in this Agreement shall be construed as requiring the Employee to seek or accept alternative or replacement employment in the event of his termination of employment by the Company for any reason, and no payment or benefit payable hereunder shall be conditioned on the Employee’s seeking or accepting such alternative or replacement employment.
