Common use of No Non-Residence Furniture Clause in Contracts

No Non-Residence Furniture. All furnishings in the Room and common areas are supplied by VIU and remain the property of VIU. External furnishings are not permitted in the Room or in common areas. If you have extenuating circumstances that require specialized furniture, you must obtain prior written approval from VIU prior to arriving on campus. Any external furnishings, not approved by VIU, that are found in the Room or common areas will be removed and the costs associated with removing it will be assessed against you and others following the principles in sections 7.2 and 7.4.
