No Political Payments. Executive shall not, in the name, on behalf or for the benefit of the Company or any of its affiliates or in respect to any clinical trial which it is conducting, offer, pay, give, promise to pay or give, or authorize the payment or gift of money or anything of value to any official, political party (or employee of a customer) or to any other person at the request, suggestion or direction of any official, political party (or employee of a customer) or when all or a portion of such money or thing of value will be offered, given or promised, directly or indirectly, to any such person for the purpose of improperly obtaining or retaining business or favorable governmental action.
