Common use of No Work Stoppage Clause in Contracts

No Work Stoppage. The Employer and the Union agree that disputes which may arise between them shall be settled without strike or lockout. The Employer agrees it will not lock out any or all of its Faculty Members during the term of this Agreement and the Union agrees on behalf of itself and its membership that there shall be no strike or slowdown during the term of this Agreement. This Article shall not be applicable in the event of a dispute between the parties arising during a bona fide reopening of this Agreement.
