Verbal Counseling, Incident Debrief, or Training A request to appeal a Non-Categorical Use of Force (NCUOF) finding of Administrative Disapproval – Verbal Counseling, Incident Debrief, or Training shall be filed within twenty (20) calendar days after the employee was served with the decision completed by the Commanding Officer, Critical Incident Review Division on a NCUOF Internal Process Report, Form 01.67.04. The request shall be filed on an Administrative Appeal, Form 1.84.00, with the Advocate Section, Internal Affairs Administrative Division. If the last day of the appeal period falls on a weekend or City holiday, such period shall be extended to the next business day. If the employee fails to request a hearing within the prescribed time, the decision of the Chief of Police shall be binding.
