Non-Profit Status. The Charter School shall promptly notify the School Board of any change in its federal tax-exempt status and corporate organizational and tax status in Virginia. The Charter School shall apply to themaintain Internal Revenue Service for a 501(c)(3) status and shall provide copies of the IRS non-profit status determinations promptly after they are received. The Charter School shall present proof of receipt by the Internal Revenue Service of an application for recognition as a Section 501(c)(3) entity upon execution of this Agreement by the School Board.
