Common use of Non-Sworn Status Clause in Contracts

Non-Sworn Status. During the length of pre-academy training and the actual training academy, the Police Officer Recruit will be placed in a non-sworn status and shall not be required to perform as a Police Officer. Upon graduation from the training academy and approval of Police Management, the Police Officer Recruit will be promoted in the classification of Police Officer.
