Non-Sworn Unit Classifications a. Flexible Work Schedules: Non-sworn members may work flexible work schedules (i.e., 4/10, 9/80) when feasible. It is agreed that implementation of flexible work schedules shall be evaluated on a work unit basis, and will only be approved in those units where flexible work schedules can be implemented without reducing service levels and cost effectiveness. A change to a flexible work schedule must be approved by the member's supervisor and the Chief of Police.

If one of the holidays listed above falls on a Saturday, then it shall be observed on the previous Friday. Every non-sworn employee is also entitled to six (6) floating holidays per Fiscal Year.
