Common use of NONCOMPLIANCE WITH CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS Clause in Contracts

NONCOMPLIANCE WITH CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS. In the event the Contractor, after receiving written notice from the Contracting Officer of noncompliance with any requirement of this contract, fails to initiate promptly such action as may be appropriate to comply with the specified requirement within a reasonable period of time, the Contracting Officer shall have the right to order the Contractor to stop or suspend any or all work under the contract until the Contractor has complied or has initiated such action as may be appropriate to comply within a reasonable period of time. The Contractor will not be entitled to any extension of contract time or payment for any costs incurred as a result of being ordered to stop work for such a cause. See FAR 52.252-14, Suspension of Work, in Section I.
