Nondiscrimination in Housing. The Recipient agrees that when it must provide housing for individuals as a result of relocation, it will comply with Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, as amended (Fair Housing Act), 42 U.S.C. § 3601, et seq., and facilitate and follow Executive Order No. 12892, “Leadership and Coordination of Fair Housing in Federal Programs: Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing,” January 17, 1994, 42 U.S.C. § 3608 note, (59 Fed. Reg. 2939), except as the Federal Government determines otherwise in writing.
