Notice and Access. A. The City shall provide the Union written notice of, and access to, new employee orientations (hereinafter NEOs) as set forth below. It is the City’s policy that NEOs are mandatory for all newly-hired employees. It is the City’s intent that NEOs take place as promptly as possible after the first day of employment. Within thirty (30) calendar days of the start of employment, newly- hired employees will be scheduled to attend the next available NEO. NEOs shall be scheduled during an employee’s regularly scheduled, paid time.
