Notice and Severance Provisions. 45.3.1 When the University is implementing layoffs, the University may provide notice to the employee as early as possible, but not less than ten (10) working days from the effective date of layoff. Working notice and non‐working severance periods will be considered separately. 45.3.2 For Recurring Term employees, their inactive period shall not be considered part of the notice period.
