Common use of Notice of Modification Clause in Contracts

Notice of Modification. On or after April 30, 2016, the Western Wall and Ceiling Contractors Association (California Finishers Conference) the Painters and Allied Trades District Council No. 36 or any signatory hereto, may give notice of desire to open the Agreement for modification. If such notice is given, the terms and provisions of such contract will remain in effect until the effective date of any new Agreement. It is provided, however, that at any time following September 30, 2016, it shall not be a violation of this Agreement for the Union to engage in strike or other lawful economic concerted activities in support of its contractual demands.
