Common use of Notice of Termination by Contractor Clause in Contracts

Notice of Termination by Contractor. The Contractor shall give the Department written Notice of Intent to Terminate at least 180 days prior to the proposed effective date of termination. The notice shall include the reason for such action and the anticipated last day of work. Upon receipt of such notice, the Department will work with the Contractor to terminate the Agreement. Without such notice, the Contractor does not have the authority to terminate the Agreement.
