Notification by Lead Agent. Upon receipt of a Notice of Money Market Borrowing in accordance with Section 2.3(f) hereof, the Lead Agent shall, on the date such Notice of Money Market Borrowing is received by the Lead Agent, notify each Bank of the principal amount of the Money Market Borrowing accepted by the applicable Borrower or CarrAmerica LP, as the case may be, and of such Bank's share (if any) of such Money Market Borrowing and such Notice of Money Market Borrowing shall not thereafter be revocable by the applicable Borrower or CarrAmerica LP, as the case may be. Provided that the applicable Borrower or CarrAmerica LP, as the case may be, elected in the applicable Money Market Quote Request to permit the Banks to designate Designated Lenders to fund such Money Market Loans, a Bank who is notified that it has been selected to make a Money Market Loan may designate its Designated Lender (if any) to fund such Money Market Loan on its behalf, as described in Section 9.6(d). Any Designated Lender which funds a Money Market Loan shall on and after the time of such funding become the obligee under such Money Market Loan and be entitled to receive payment thereof when due. No Bank shall be relieved of its obligation to fund a Money Market Loan, and no Designated Lender shall assume such obligation, prior to the time the applicable Money Market Loan is funded.

Provided that the Borrower elected in the applicable Money Market Quote Request to permit the Banks to designate Designated Lenders to fund such Money Market Loans, a Bank that is notified that it has been selected to make a Money Market Loan may designate its Designated Lender (if any) to fund such Money Market Loan on its behalf, as described in Section 9.6(d). Any Designated Lender which funds a Money Market Loan shall on and after the time of such funding become the obligee in respect of such Money Market Loan and be entitled to receive payment thereof when due.
