Notification of Excessing. The District will notify, in writing, staff members who are excessed as well as those who are assigned from the District-Initiated Transfer Leave list. Staff members who receive a District-Initiated Transfer will be given written notification for the reasons for the transfer. Under normal circumstances, such notification will be made before school closes for the summer or as soon as possible after the need for the District-Initiated Transfer becomes apparent.
