Notification Prior to Return. By no later than the end of the employee’s regularly scheduled workday on the workday prior to the employee’s return to duty, the employee shall notify the immediate supervisor or the District Office of the employee’s intent to return to work. If the employee fails to notify his/her supervisor or the District Office and both the employee and the substitute report to work, the substitute is entitled to work and the employee shall not receive pay for that day.
