Reporting Absences. Employees are responsible for reporting to work on time on each scheduled work day. When an Employee is absent from work, they will notify their Supervisor or designate by telephone before the beginning of the work period or as soon as practicable. The Employee shall inform their Supervisor or designate of the reason for the absence, the expected time of their return to work and a telephone number where they may be reached in their absence.
Reporting Absences. An employee who is unable to report for work, for whatever reason, will notify their Supervisor or designate at least one (1) hour before the beginning of the shift. Acknowledgment by their Supervisor or designate of the absence does not mean permission has been granted.

Reporting Absences. Employees are required to submit the district’s absence verification form following every absence. Employees shall submit the absence form following each leave, whether paid or unpaid, within five (5) business days of return to work. For paid absences of unknown duration that extend longer than two weeks, the employee shall submit the form at least every calendar month during the absence unless he/she is incapacitated, in which case the employee’s immediate supervisor shall submit the absence form. This is to assure that the employee on a paid leave has adequate leave available to avoid an overpayment. The absence forms are to be signed by the employee’s supervisor and submitted to the Payroll Department promptly within the above timelines. An approved request for leave of absence does not relieve the employee of the obligation to submit an absence verification form upon return.
Reporting Absences. Employees will report their absence due to personal illness or injury by phoning their building principal and director of physical plant or the director's designee. In addition, employees must create an absence on the District’s online absence system by 11:00 p.m. the day of the absence. Notification for such absence should be received by the building principal if the employee is assigned to a building and director of physical plant or designee no later than thirty (30) minutes before the start of the employee's scheduled workday for those employees whose workday begins at or before 7:00 a.m. Notification of such absence by employees whose workday begins after 7:01 a.m. should be received by the director of physical plant or the director's designee no later than one (1) hour prior to the start of their scheduled workday. Employees are encouraged to notify the director of the physical plant or the director's designees as early as possible prior to the start of their workday. An employee who becomes sick at work shall notify the immediate supervisor and the physical plant office before leaving the job.
Reporting Absences. All leave shall be reported to the appropriate administrator at the beginning of any sick leave and daily thereafter unless pre-arranged. A written medical opinion may be required in cases of frequent absences (more than three days (21 hours) in a quarter). The District may request a second opinion at the District’s expense.
Reporting Absences. Employees are required to attend work regularly. When unable to attend, the employee must contact his supervisor as far in advance as possible of his/her scheduled start time, giving the reason he/she is unable to attend work, date of his/her expected return if known, and the details as to where he/she can be contacted during his/her absence. If the employee cannot contact his/her supervisor he/she must leave a recorded message with the required information. An employee is required, if requested by the Company, to substantiate the reasons for any absence. An employee is required to maintain regular contact with the Company throughout his/her period of illness or impairment and recovery.

(b) If requested, an Employee must provide medical documentation supporting the absence that is to the satisfaction of the Employer and must include confirmation of an in-person assessment by a physician; workplace restrictions, if any; and a return to work or reassessment date. If any diagnostic information is in the physician’s note, then Article 30.02
Reporting Absences. Teachers shall report their anticipated absences to the substitute center as early as possible in order to enable substitute teachers to arrive in the school before the beginning time of the teachers’ work day. Teachers shall also report their anticipated absences to the school no later than their reporting time. If the teachers cannot report because the telephone lines are busy or similar such occurrences, the teachers shall report as soon thereafter as possible.
Reporting Absences. In the event the Employee is unable to perform his/her duties due to illness, personal business, vacation, travel, etc. will working from home, he/she must report his/her absence as per Article 3.i. above.
