Notification to Authorities of Hazardous Substances. No employee may be disciplined for notifying the appropriate authorities of a release of hazardous substances to the air, earth or water systems. However it is expected that the Employer will be notified first. This notification would give the Employer the opportunity to take prompt remedial action.
