Notwithstanding Articles 9. 3.1 and 13.3, the Authority shall have the prerogative of hiring Technicians for a four (4) hour call on the following conditions: 1. The four (4) hour call shall be paid at time and one-half (1 1/2) the basic rate. All hours assigned and/or worked in excess of four (4) hours, but less than eight (8) hours, shall be paid at time and one- half (1 1/2) and all hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours shall be paid at two (2) times the basic rate. 2. On a non-shooting, or non-production day, such as programme conferences, etc. the four (4) hour call shall be paid at the basic rate. All hours assigned and/or worked in excess of four (4) hours, but less than eight (8) hours shall be paid at time and one-half (1 1/2) the basic rate, and all hours assigned and/or worked in excess of eight (8) hours shall be paid at two (2) times the basic rate. 3. A four (4) hour call may not be scheduled during an out-of-town assignment, which requires overnight accommodation.
