Common use of NOW and Clause in Contracts

NOW and. the Union shall establish a joint committee of at least four members empowered to investigate all aspects of health and safety in the workplace and to recommend corrective measures where necessary. Members of the committee from the bargaining unit will be chosen by the Union. NOW will respond to written recommendations from the committee, in writing, within 21 days. A meeting of the committee may be initiated on request from either NOW or the Union.
