Common use of NTT FACULTY WITH A RELEVANT TERMINAL DEGREE Clause in Contracts

NTT FACULTY WITH A RELEVANT TERMINAL DEGREE. NTT faculty with relevant terminal degrees (relevancy is determined by the heads of their home departments) may be appointed or advance to the following titles: • Assistant Teaching/Clinical Professor • Associate Teaching/Clinical Professor • Teaching/Clinical Professor For NTT faculty members to be considered for appointment to the title of Assistant Teaching/Clinical Professor they must: (A) have a relevant terminal degree. (B) demonstrate promise of effectiveness in all areas of their assignment . For NTT faculty members to be considered for appointment or advancement to the title of Associate Teaching/Clinical Professor they must: (A) have a relevant terminal degree. (B) demonstrate sustained effectiveness in all areas of their assignments as specifically defined by Letters of Appointment in the 150 WLU period. (C) demonstrate effectiveness in teaching (see section 8.07.01) . (D) In addition, for Assistant Teaching/Clinical Professors to be considered as candidates for advancement, they must have completed a minimum of 150 workload units of contracted work for the university, as Assistant Teaching/Clinical Professors. For NTT faculty members to be considered for appointment or advancement to the title of Teaching/Clinical Professor they must: (A) have a relevant terminal degree. (B) demonstrate sustained effectiveness in all areas of their assignments as specifically defined by Letters of Appointment in the 150 WLU period. (C) demonstrate excellence in teaching (see section 8.07.01). (D) In addition, for Associate Teaching/Clinical Professors to be considered as candidates for advancement, they must have completed a minimum of 150 workload units of contracted work for the university, as Associate Teaching/Clinical Professors.
