Number Administration/Number Reservation. 3.1. Sprint shall provide testing and loading of CLEC’s NXX on the same basis as Sprint provides itself or its affiliates. Further, Sprint shall provide CLEC with access to abbreviated dialing codes, and the ability to obtain telephone numbers, including vanity numbers, while a subscriber is on the phone with CLEC. When CLEC uses numbers from a Sprint NXX, Sprint shall provide the same range of number choices to CLEC, including choice of exchange number, as Sprint provides its own subscribers. Reservation and aging of Sprint NXX’s shall remain Sprint’s responsibility. 56.3.2. In conjunction with an order for service, Sprint shall accept CLEC orders for vanity numbers and blocks of numbers for use with complex services including, but not limited to, DID, CENTREX, and Hunting arrangements, as requested by CLEC. 56.3.3. For simple services number reservations and aging of Sprint’s numbers, Sprint shall provide real-time confirmation of the number reservation when the Electronic Interface has been implemented. For number reservations associated with complex services, Sprint shall provide confirmation of the number reservation within twenty-four (24) hours of CLEC’s request. Consistent with the manner in which Sprint provides numbers to its own subscribers, no telephone number assignment is guaranteed until service has been installed.
