Nursing Services. Contractor shall, in addition to nursing requirements of Oregon Administrative Rules Chapter 411, Division 054:
a. Provide 1 FTE Registered Nurse (RN) and 2 FTE Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) with current unencumbered Oregon licensure. Contractor shall ensure an adequate number of nursing hours are provided relevant to the census and acuity, nursing staff are On-Site at least 7 days per week and Available and On-Call 7 days per week; and
b. Ensure the following tasks are performed by Contractor’s licensed nurses, within the scope of their license:
(1) Assist with the screening of prospective Individual to determine if their needs can be met under this Contract;
(2) Provide focused assessments per Oregon Administrative Rules Chapter 851, Division 045 to assist with development of initial Service Plan, admissions, discharges, MARS, TARS, and implementation of individualized Nursing Service Plans;
(3) Ensure that each Individual receives a Nursing Service Plan that is pursuant to the Service Plan;
(4) Review each Nursing Service Plan monthly, or more frequently, if the Individual experiences a significant change of condition and update quarterly;
(5) Provide or ensure that each direct care staff has the training needed to support each Individual’s Nursing Service Plans;
(6) Ensure delegation, teaching and documentation of nursing care as regulated by Oregon Administrative Rules Chapter 851, Division 047;
(7) Provide a review of Contractor’s pharmacy and medication system and ensure Oregon Administrative Rules Chapter 851, Division 047 compliance regarding the teaching of medication administration; and
(8) Coordinate with Home Health, Hospice, or a licensed health care provider for tasks that fall outside the scope of the facility and/or Contractor’s nursing staff license(s).
Nursing Services. Nursing services shall be provided by a registered nurse and shall consist of:
1. Regularly assessing the patient’s nursing needs, imple- xxxxxxx the plan of care provisions to meet those needs and reevaluating the patient’s nursing needs;
2. Supervising and teaching other nursing personnel, includ- ing licensed practical nurses, home health aides and hospice aides; and
3. Evaluating the effectiveness of delegated acts performed under the registered nurse’s supervision;
Nursing Services. The Contractor shall comply with any applicable Nursing Services provisions of WAC 000-00-0000 or its successor.
Nursing Services. Contractor shall, in addition to nursing requirements of OAR Chapter 411 Division 054 rules:
a. Provide 1 FTE Director of Nursing who is available On-Call and accessible. Contractor’s Director of Nursing shall provide oversight of Contractor’s nursing staff and nursing services pursuant to OAR Chapter 411 Division 054 rules and this Contract;
b. Provide 1 FTE Registered Nurse (RN) and 1 FTE Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current unencumbered Oregon licensure. Contractor shall ensure an adequate number of nursing hours are provided relevant to the census and acuity, On-Site at least 5 days per week and are available and On-Call 7 days per week; and
c. Ensure the following tasks are performed by Contractor’s licensed nurses, within the scope of their license:
(1) Assist with the screening of prospective Individual to determine if their needs can be met under this Contract;
(2) Provide focused assessments per OAR Chapter 851 Division 045 rules to assist with development of initial Service Plan, admissions, discharges, MARS, TARS and implementation of Individual Nursing Service Plans;
(3) Ensure that each Individual receives a Nursing Service Plan that is pursuant to the Service Plan;
(4) Review each Nursing Service Plan monthly or more frequently if the Individual experiences a significant change of condition and update quarterly;
(5) Provide or ensure that each direct care staff has the training needed to support Individuals’ Nursing Service Plans;
(6) Ensure delegation, teaching and documentation of nursing care as regulated by OAR Chapter 851 Division 047 rules;
(7) Provide a review of Contractor’s pharmacy and medication system and ensure OAR Chapter 851 Division 047 rules compliance regarding the teaching of medication administration; and
(8) Coordinate with Home Health, Hospice or a licensed health care provider for tasks that fall outside the scope of the facility and/or Contractor’s nursing staff license(s).
Nursing Services a. The assessment of health status for the purpose of providing nursing care, including the identification of patterns of human response to actual or potential health problems; the provision of nursing care to prevent health problems, restore or improve functioning, and promote optimal health and development; and the administration of medications, treatments, and regimens prescribed by a licensed physician.
b. Nursing Services must be provided by:
i. A Registered Nurse licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing; or
ii. A Vocational Nurse licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing 5.2.10 Nutrition
a. Services that include conducting individual assessments in:
i. Nutritional history and dietary intake;
ii. Anthropometric, biochemical, and clinical variables;
iii. Feeding skills and feeding problems;
iv. Food habits and food preferences;
v. Developing and monitoring appropriate plans to address the nutritional needs of eligible children; and
vi. Making referrals to appropriate community resources to carry out nutrition goals.
Nursing Services. 50.01 The Board will provide school nursing/ health services through the retention of one (1) Licensed School Nurse with the remaining necessary nursing services being provided by Building Nurses, licensed by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
Nursing Services. Pursuant to its general responsibilities set forth below in this Agreement, the Provider agrees to provide licensed nurses to perform approximately 32.5 hours of Nursing services per week for students of the District. The name of the assigned nurse, the services to be provided by that nurse, the work location, work hours, and hourly rate of any nurse performing services for the District under this Agreement shall be listed on separate Statement of Work Forms, a specimen of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A. The parties further acknowledge that this is not an exclusive contract. The District is fully entitled to utilize the services of other providers, independent contractors, and its own employees. Likewise, the Provider is fully entitled to provide services to other clients.
Nursing Services. The Provider must be a licensed registered nurse by the Texas Board of Nursing under 22 T.A.C., Part 11, Chapter 217. The registered nurse must comply with the requirements for delivery of nursing services, which include requirements such as compliance with the Texas Nurse Practice Act and delegation of nursing tasks. The licensed vocational nurse must practice under the supervision of a registered nurse, licensed to practice in the State. 352
Nursing Services. 1. During the course of negotiations the parties had ongoing discussions regarding the provision of nursing services in the Windsor area.
Nursing Services. Contractor shall ensure that all the Contractor’s employees sent to a facility under this Contract:
1) Are appropriately licensed in the State of Montana;
2) Have received appropriate training with respect to life and safety issues, HIPAA regulations, Infection Control, and the transmission of blood borne pathogens;
3) Have current tuberculosis testing; and
4) Are trained, experienced, and qualified to perform the duties specified below and made known to the Contractor. Contractor shall ensure that proof of the foregoing requirements is delivered to the facility. The parties agree that the contractual time period specified shall not be construed as an absolute right or guarantee of any nurse to work within a facility during this time period. Health care services shall include, but not be limited to the following:
1) Intake screening/physical assessment;
2) Review of inmate health care record within 24 hours of the inmate’s arrival;
3) Pre-operative care;
4) Post-operative care;
5) Short term nursing care for acute illness;
6) Daily triage of Health Care Requests (HCR);
7) Assessment of inmates in segregation for suitability in such placements;
8) Management of communicable diseases and infection control;
9) Provision of routine health care assessment;
10) Maintaining current medical health care records of each inmate;
11) Medication administration;
12) Provision of all provider orders for medication; 13) Health education; and
14) Emergency care.
