Obligation to Provide Access Amendment and Accounting of Phi a. Access to, amendments of, and accounting of disclosures of, PHI. Business Associate shall make available to Covered Entity such information as Covered Entity may require in accordance with HIPAA, the HIPAA Privacy Regulations, and the HITECH Standards in order to fulfill Covered Entity’s obligations to provide access to, and copies of, PHI; amend PHI; or provide an accounting of disclosures with respect to PHI. Business Associate shall provide access to, and permit inspection and copying of, PHI by Covered Entity, and shall amend PHI maintained by Business Associate as requested by Covered Entity.

Obligation to Provide Access Amendment and Accounting of Phi a. Access to PHI. BA shall make available to CE such information as CE may require to fulfill CE’s obligations to provide access to, and copies of, PHI in accordance with HIPAA.
