Common use of Observance of Rules Clause in Contracts

Observance of Rules. (a) Adequate service for the public and courteous treat- ment of passengers are necessary for the efficient operation of the Authority’s system and as there are embodied in the Official book of general rules for employees, and in orders issued from time to time, directions for employees that will tend to successful and efficient operation, the Union shall take such action as will at all times aid in securing the strict xxxxx- xxxxx of these rules by its members. The Authority will pro- vide that there is no conflict between orders and rules and the provisions of this contract.
