OBTAINING VOLUNTARY STATEMENTS. Where a request is made to obtain a statement from a person for the purpose of a criminal matter in the Requesting Party, the Requested Party shall endeavor, with the consent of that person, to obtain that statement.
OBTAINING VOLUNTARY STATEMENTS. 1. The Requested Party shall, upon request, endeavour to obtain voluntary statements from persons for the purpose of an investigation, prosecution or proceedings related to a criminal matter for transmission to the Requesting Party.
2. A request under this Article shall specify the subject matter about which a voluntary statement is to be obtained, including any questions to be put to the person from whom the statement is to be obtained.
