Common use of OCCUPATIONAL ACCIDENTS Clause in Contracts

OCCUPATIONAL ACCIDENTS. 27.01 When an employee suffers an occupational accident on the Company premises during his working hours and is sent home by the Company, such employee will be paid his base hourly rate (inclusive of shift premium) for the balance of his shift, on the day on which the accident occurs. 27.02 When such employee returns to work, he shall be reinstated to his former classification subject to the provisions of Clause 14.03.1 of this Agreement.
