OCCUPATIONAL RENTAL. 7.1 Occupational rental is an amount which the Purchaser will pay to the Seller for the right to have occupation of the apartment before the Purchaser becomes the registered owner of it and before the Seller receives the purchase price.
7.2 In accordance with the explanation set out above, should registration of transfer of the unit take place after the completion date, the Purchaser shall pay the occupational rental to the Seller calculated as prescribed in Schedule “A”. This occupational rental shall be paid monthly in advance from the completion date until registration of transfer. If the completion date falls on any day other that the first day of the calendar month, then the Purchaser will pay a pro rata amount for the calendar month in which the completion date fell.
OCCUPATIONAL RENTAL. An amount calculated at 0,8 % (zero comma eight percent) of the Purchase price, amounting to R per month. (initial by client)
OCCUPATIONAL RENTAL. 8.1 Occupational rental is an amount which the Purchaser will pay, to the Developer, for the right to have possession and occupation of the unit, before the Purchaser becomes the owner of unit and before the Attorney receives the purchase price.
8.2 In accordance with the explanation set out above, should registration of transfer of the unit take place after the completion date, the Purchaser shall pay the occupational rental to the Attorneys calculated as prescribed in Schedule “A”. This occupational rental shall be paid 72 [SEVENTY TWO] hours prior to the initial occupation to the Attorneys, and thereafter, monthly, in advance, from the completion date until registration of transfer. If the completion date falls on any day other than the first day of the month, then the Purchaser shall pay a proportionate amount in rental for the days in the month following the completion date.
OCCUPATIONAL RENTAL. From Date of Possession until the Date of Transfer (both days inclusive), the Purchaser shall pay to the Seller monthly occupational rental as stipulated in clause 1.8 of the Contract of Sale. Such occupational rental shall be payable monthly in advance on the 1st (first) day of each and every month. All payments in terms of this clause are to be made payable to the Conveyancers upon demand.
OCCUPATIONAL RENTAL. 6.1 On and with effect from the Occupation Date up to and including the Date of Registration of Transfer the Purchaser shall pay to the Seller, monthly in advance, Occupation Rental at the rate calculated on the purchase price and set forth in clause 11 of the schedule of particulars.
6.2 The Purchaser shall be liable for Occupational Rental irrespective of whether he takes occupation or not and shall not be entitled to withhold the Occupational Rental or any part in respect of the work to be done as provided for in clause 7.1.2.
6.3 It is hereby agreed that no tenancy shall be created by the Purchaser taking occupation prior to the Date of Registration of Transfer.
6.4 The Purchaser hereby consents that the Seller’s Conveyancers may set off any amount owing in respect of Occupational Rental of the Unit (if applicable) as set out in clause 6 hereof, against interest earned on the Purchaser's invested deposit, which Occupational Rental shall be paid directly to the Seller following the Date of Registration of Transfer.
OCCUPATIONAL RENTAL. Occupational Rental on the Unit shall be calculated at 1% (ONE PERCENT) of the Purchase Price per month, from date of occupation as anticipated above.
OCCUPATIONAL RENTAL. 8.1 Should Transfer take place after the Possession Date, the Purchaser shall pay as occupational rental to the Seller an amount equal to the prime rate plus 2% (two percent) on the Purchase Price per month, pro rata, payable monthly in advance commencing on the Possession Date and thereafter on the first day of each and every succeeding month until the Transfer Date.
8.2 Should occupational rental and/or any levies be payable in advance for purposes of Transfer, the Purchaser shall be liable to pay his/her/its pro rata share of the occupational rental and levies as advised by the Conveyancers within 10 (ten) days of written demand.
OCCUPATIONAL RENTAL. If the date of occupation and possession does not coincide with the date of transfer, the party enjoying occupation and possession of the property while it is registered in the name of the other party shall, in consideration thereof and for the period of such occupation, pay to the other party occupational rental ( ) per month or a pro rata share thereof for any portion of a month.
OCCUPATIONAL RENTAL. 21.1. In the event of the Purchase Price or any portion thereof not having been paid to or made available to the Seller on or before the date upon which possession of the property shall be given, occupational rental of R shall be payable from date of possession to the date of transfer and such rental shall be paid monthly in advance.

The Purchaser will be liable for cash deposit fees charged by the bank, if payments are made in cash.
7.3 The Purchaser agrees that he/she shall not be entitled to refuse payment of occupational rental on account of any faults or defects not yet being repaired by the Seller, provided that the Seller is within the scope of the periods afforded to it in terms of clause 6.7 and 17.1 of this Agreement.
7.4 Late payment penalties shall accrue on any outstanding occupational rental payments due by the Purchaser to the Seller, at R500.00 (five hundred Rand) per month overdue. In addition to this, and without prejudice to any other remedies to which the Seller may be entitled, all overdue amounts shall bear interest at the rate of 8% (eight percent) per annum above the prime bank rate as applied from time to time by Standard Bank, calculated from the first day of the month to date of payment thereof, compounded monthly, which interest shall be due and payable on demand.
