Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 The Contractor shall comply with section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. § 794), as amended, and any applicable regulations. The Contractor agrees that no qualified individual with handicaps shall, solely on the basis of handicap, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or otherwise be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity that receives Federal financial assistance from HUD.
National Environmental Policy Act All subrecipients must comply with the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) 42 U.S.C. 4321 et seq., and the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) Regulations (40 C.F.R. Parts 1500-1508) for Implementing the Procedural Provisions of NEPA, which requires Subrecipients to use all practicable means within their authority, and consistent with other essential considerations of national policy, to create and maintain conditions under which people and nature can exist in productive harmony and fulfill the social, economic, and other needs of present and future generations of Americans.
Federal Water Pollution Control Act 1. The contractor agrees to comply with all applicable standards, orders, or regulations issued pursuant to the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended, 33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq.
COMPLIANCE WITH ENERGY POLICY AND CONSERVATION ACT Contractor certifies that Contractor will be in compliance with mandatory standards and policies relating to energy efficiency which are contained in the state energy conservation plan issued in compliance with the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (Pub. L. 94-163, 89 Stat. 871). CLEAN AIR AND WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ACT Customer Purchase Orders using federal funds must contain a provision that requires the Contractor to agree to comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387). Violations must be reported to the Federal awarding agency and the Regional Office of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Pursuant to the Federal Rule above, Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with all applicable provisions of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387) and will remain in compliance during the term of the Contract.
Data Protection Act 7.1.1 The Supplier shall (and shall procure that its entire Staff) comply with any notification requirements under the DPA and both Parties will duly observe all their obligations under the DPA which arise in connection with the Contract.
Compensation Act The Committee shall be as between the Employer and the Union, with equal representation, and with each party appointing its own representatives.
Anti-Deficiency Act The Department's obligations and responsibilities under the terms of the Contract and the Contract Documents are and shall remain subject to the provisions of (i) the federal Anti-Deficiency Act, 31 U.S.C. §§1341, 1342, 1349, 1350, 1351, (ii) the D.C. Code 47-105, (iii) the District of Columbia Anti-Deficiency Act, D.C. Code §§ 47- 355.01 - 355.08, as the foregoing statutes may be amended from time to time, and (iv) Section 446 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act. Neither the Contract nor any of the Contract Documents shall constitute an indebtedness of the Department, nor shall it constitute an obligation for which the Department is obligated to levy or pledge any form of taxation, or for which the Department has levied or pledged any form of taxation. IN ACCORDANCE WITH § 446 OF THE HOME RULE ACT, D.C. CODE § 1-204.46, NO DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA OFFICIAL IS AUTHORIZED TO OBLIGATE OR EXPEND ANY AMOUNT UNDER THE CONTRACT OR CONTRACT DOCUMENTS UNLESS SUCH AMOUNT HAS BEEN APPROVED, IS LAWFULLY AVAILABLE AND APPROPRIATED BY ACT OF CONGRESS.
