of these General Conditions. If the Contractor and the State cannot agree on a revised amount, the Contractor will promptly issue a Certificate for Payment for the amount that is undisputed. Any disputed amounts will be subject to the dispute resolution procedures specified in these General Conditions. The Project Manager may also decline to approve payment or, because of subsequently discovered evidence or subsequent observations, he or she may nullify the whole or any part of any Certificate for Payment previously issued, to such extent as may be necessary in his or her opinion to protect the State from loss because of:
