Offshore Payments Clause Samples

The Offshore Payments clause defines the terms and conditions under which payments are made to parties located outside the country of the payer. Typically, this clause specifies the currency to be used, the method of transfer (such as wire transfer or international bank draft), and who is responsible for any associated fees or taxes. Its core practical function is to ensure clarity and prevent disputes regarding cross-border payment logistics, thereby facilitating smooth international transactions.
