Overtime Payments. (1) Subject to the provisions of this subclause, all work performed outside of the Ordinary Hours and time worked to accrue an RDO on any day, Monday to Friday, inclusive, shall be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first two hours and double time thereafter.

Overtime Payments. It is the intent of the Employer to distribute overtime, wherever possible, in an equitable manner to employees available and able to perform the work. First consideration shall be given to employees within the job category. One and one-half (1 ½) times an employee’s base rate will be paid for hours worked in excess of seven and one-half (7 ½) hours in a work day except that two (2) times an employee’s base rate will be paid for:

Authorization – All overtime shall be authorized only by a representative of Management or their designate. Overtime will be offered to the most senior qualified employee. An employee may refuse to work overtime; however, if all employees in a classification, in a department, refuse to work or cannot be reached to do the work, the Company will require the most junior qualified employee in the classification in the department to do the work. Where such assignment constitutes more than sixteen (16) hours of overtime over the fourteen (14) day period the next most junior qualified employee may be so assigned. In the case of work or an assignment of a continuing nature or a business emergency, the employee who had been assigned to the work or assignment may be required to perform the overtime.

All Units except RC-10) Full-time employees shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half times the employee's straight time hourly rate for all time worked outside of their normal work hours and/or work days up to sixteen (16) hours in a day. For hours worked in excess of sixteen (16) in a day, employees shall be paid double time. However, a full-time employee will not be eligible for pay at the applicable overtime rate for all time worked outside of the employee's normal work hours and/or work days, pursuant to this Article, only under the following circumstances:
