Open Resource Family. Any resource family that has at least one resource type contained in one of the agreed upon “countable categories” as defined in the measurement plan. a. The date on which a resource family is considered open depends on the type of home: i. When approved by OKDHS staff, resource families are open as of the family assessment “supervisor approval” date in KIDS. ii. When approved by contracted agencies, resource families are open as of the “open date” in KIDS as a DHS supervisor does not approve these homes.
