Common use of Operational Hours Clause in Contracts

Operational Hours. Monday - Sunday 6am – 10pm which hours may be varied by the written permission of the General Manager of NVC. 1.2 Interpretation in this Agreement, including the Background, unless the context otherwise requires: (a) A reference to any legislation or legislative provision includes any statutory modification or re−enactment of or any legislative provision substituted for, and any subordinate legislation under, that legislation or legislative provision; (b) The singular includes the plural and vice versa; (c) A reference to a person includes a natural person, body corporate, firm, partnership, joint venture, association, unincorporated body, authority, trust, state or government; (d) A reference to any gender includes all genders; (e) A reference to a recital, clause, schedule or annexure is to a recital, clause, schedule or annexure of or to this Agreement; (f) A schedule or annexure forms part of this Agreement; (g) A reference to any agreement or document is to that agreement or document (and, where applicable, any of its provisions) as amended, novated, supplemented, varied or replaced from time to time; (h) A reference to any party to this Agreement or any other document or arrangement includes that party's executors, administrators, substitutes, successors and permitted assigns; (i) Where an expression is defined, another part of speech or grammatical form of that expression has a corresponding meaning; (j) The words 'includes' and 'including' are not words of limitations; (k) Heading are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation; (I) A reference to dollars or $ is to Australian currency; (m) A reference to conduct includes any omission and any statement or undertaking, whether or not in writing; (n) An obligation or liability assumed by, or a right conferred on, 2 or more parties binds or benefits all of them jointly and each of them severally; (o) If the day on or by which something is required to be done or may be done is not a Business Day, that thing must be done on or by the next Business Day; and (p) A reference to any thing (including, without limitation, any amount) is a reference to all or part of it.
