Common use of Operator Status Clause in Contracts

Operator Status. In the performance of its duties in the administration, management and operation of the Hotel, Operator shall act as an independent contractor. Nothing herein shall constitute or be construed to be or create a partnership or joint venture between Lessee and Operator, or be construed to create a lease by Operator of the Hotel or the Property and Operator shall not constitute a tenant or subtenant of Lessee. It is expressly covenanted that this Agreement is no more than an agreement for the rendering of services by Operator on behalf of Lessee in the operation and management of the Hotel.

It is expressly covenanted that this Agreement is no more than an agreement for the rendering of services by Operator on behalf of Lessee in the operation and management of the HotelHotels.
