An Optional Scheduling Provision allows parties to adjust or select dates and times for performance or delivery under a contract, rather than adhering to a fixed schedule. This clause typically gives one or both parties the flexibility to propose or agree upon specific timeframes as circumstances evolve, such as rescheduling meetings, deliveries, or project milestones. Optional Scheduling Provision. There will be an optional scheduling system available. An extended work day may be implemented between the Union and the Employer. The regular hours of this scheduling system shall not exceed:
(a) ten (10) consecutive hours per day at the Basic Rate of Pay;
(b) seventy-seven point five (77.5) hours averaged over fourteen (14) calendar days.
