Common use of Oral Evaluation and Fluoride Varnish Clause in Contracts

Oral Evaluation and Fluoride Varnish. The MCO must educate Providers on the availability of the Oral Evaluation and Fluoride Varnish (OEFV) Medicaid benefit that can be rendered and billed by certified Texas Health Steps providers when performed on the same day as the Texas Health Steps medical checkup. The Provider education must include information about how to assist a Member with referral to a dentist to establish a dental home.
